Stephenson Group’s mission was to achieve wider recognition for the quality of patient care at Renaissance Malibu’s chemical dependency treatment center, which provides rehabilitation program services to a highly-specialized target market: celebrities, Fortune 1000 executives and members of international royal families.

Mindful that Renaissance Malibu’s success depended on shielding its exclusive clientele from publicity, Stephenson Group (SG) created a thought leadership campaign that emphasized Renaissance Malibu’s treatment expertise and allowed the director to comment on celebrity rehabilitation issues.

Results:

Within one year, SG had won coverage in all key targeted general news, business and entertainment outlets, including: CNBC, Copley Newswire, Entertainment Tonight, E! News, and others.

In addition, to help secure Renaissance Malibu’s position as a leading rehabilitation resource in an exclusive market segment, Stephenson Group negotiated with a celebrity patient to be featured in an hour-long national TV case study showcasing the treatment and facility.
