Stephenson Group was asked to mprove opportunities for VC funding, a public offering, or acquisition by establishing 1View Network as a leader in electronic account aggregation and IFX/OFX technology.
Tactics:
Stephenson Group (SG) launched a public relations campaign designed to win industry mindshare of 1View Network and its flagship “personal financial dashboard” and other “killer app” products, including: media and analyst briefings, speaking opportunities, proactive media outreach, placement of case studies and bylined articles, and a steady stream of media communications.
Results:
In June 2000 Digital Insight acquired 1View Network in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $56.3 million.
In the first three months of SG’s PR campaign, 1View Network became a regular source for articles about electronic account aggregation and a popular target of invitations from event organizers.
