Industry expert seeks targeted media positioning campaign
Chase Law Group

Goal:
To position Chase Law Group as the leading criminal defense practice in California and Eric Chase, its founder, as a ‘go-to’ national defense law authority via a targeted media campaign.

Approach:
Practicing law for more than 16 years, Eric Chase tried hundreds of cases successfully, however he lacked the implied third-party endorsement of the media to be recognized by his peers and prospects as a legal authority.Chase recognized that experience was not enough and wanted to leverage his expertise by providing expert commentary regarding the Day’s legal news.Other PR firms detailed to Chase a three month pre-positioning plan – prior to any media outreach – exceeding $20,000.

Stephenson Group’s Media Relations Team worked with Chase to develop a strong and strategic ‘media image’ - developing a press kit, conducting media training and securing appropriate photos.SG’s Team then began leveraging its national and local media contacts to build Chase’s media resume and launch the expert positioning campaign.
